Fantastic doctor, I saw him both in hospital and as an out patient. Great medical skills and wonderful personality. He is a true patient advocate in a system where this matters.

He is a really fine doctor that I can't say enough good things about. I've been a patient of his for about 6 years and I think his knowledge and intervention have probably added years to my life. He also has a great sense of humour which is a rare quality in Doctors I have knwon.

He is the best!! I have a chronic problem with my esophagus for years and he has been such a help and support. Great demeanor and so knowledgeable! He has given up his lunch hour to see me! Thanks Dr. Amar!

I have been Dr. Amar's patient the last 7 years. He was able to remove a very unusual precancerous polyp, other surgeon would not touch. He is very knowledgeable, and his sense of humor really helps in uncomfortable situations. I hope he never retires!
