Fantastic doctor; however he is semi-retired and goes sway for very long periods of time and is very difficult to get in to see even though I have been a patient of his since 2006.

Saw Dr. Finlay for the first time today and was very impressed with his knowledge and expertise. He took the time to explain a complicated situation very clearly and demonstrated wisdom and professionalism in his treatment. He just saved us from getting unnecessary monthly eye injections (ordered by a different doctor)! Would trust his judgment implicitly.

Dr Finlay is friendly and kind, and quite gentle but direct when giving injections. I have a severe phobia of needles, and am not thrilled with things going in my eyes, but I can manage with Dr Finlay and have never had a panic attack due to seeing him. He's busy, so the office gets backed up, but he and his staff have worked out a nice rhythm; I rarely wait more than 30 minutes past my actual appointment time.
