sometimes I have felt intimidated as I have traveled a distance to try to be on time. Specialists are rushed & sometimes feel in adequate with time to chat.

Dr. Flanagan is great to speak with. She listens to what you have to say and takes her time with you - which can be a rarity with doctors. The front office staff on the other hand, could do better with their customer service skills.

Doctor Flanagan is a fantastic Rheumatologist, however her staff leave a lot to be desired. As of writing this I am in very bad pain, waiting for my insurance company to get a fax from Doctor Flanagan's office, that should have been received several weeks ago. I have called and given them the correct fax number several times and they keep ignoring the new number and faxing the letter to my pharmacy. So they are either stupid or sloppy neither option reflects well on Doctor Flanagan.

I had asked to be referred to Dr Flannagan as I had seen her a number of years ago. In the first visit years ago she did not diagnose psoriatic arthritis but osteoarthritis. I had a hip replacement. She also diagnosed me with scoliosis which no other doctor has agreed with. After waiting 1 year to see her my appointment was cancelled and I was told it could take up to another year. Staff was rude and obnoxious. It did not take another year but I looked for another doctor who told me and is treating me for psoriatic arthritis as my primary diagnosis and that I do not have scoliosis. Would I have needed a hip replacement at 47 if properly diagnosed?
