Dr. Byrne is one of the best! She is kind, understanding and quite helpful. Over my three years with her I learned a lot about myself, my family dynamics and how to change most of the improperly learned behaviors I had learned, that made me so ill. But most of all I learned being raped and abused wasn’t my fault. I am a survivor, a strong lady. Each of us have our stress limits, everyone is not the same. I learned to relax, and detect when I have to cut back on stressors and to know mine. She taught me to analyze my dreams, to hear what I am telling myself. Some things I have overcome, others I have not; because sometime scars remain. 27 years later, I still think of her from time to time, and how she helped me pick myself up and get on with life.
