After seeing 3 Drs 2 at walk in clinic and one at Jubilee hospital, suffering from a bad bladder infection antibiotics I was in were not working! Dr Irvine was very thoural had alot of tests done and recommended a better course of treatment with Iv ti start! New Meds are working I am getting better each day! Great nurses very caring thank you Dr Irvine! For taking the time and care with me and explaining things to me properly! Its worth the drive to go to sannich hospital!

I went to Sanpen this morning in an ambulance suffering from high BP. Dr Irvine was very thorough, attentive, listening to my comments about how I felt, and in a calm manner said he was going to monitor my BP and prescribe norvasc to help bring it down. The nursing staff were extremely professional and pleasant, and after test results became available and my BP dropped below the danger level he discussed what needs to be done, keeping an eye on my BP and phoning a special No. If it goes up or stops dropping to normal levels. I felt I had a really excellent caring and attention from Dr Irvine and hospital staff in the few hours I was in emergency. My sincere appreciation to all. 14 Oct 2015

Dr. Irvine was in Saanich Peninsula Hospital Emergency on June 10th and July 24th, 2011 when I attended there as a patient. He is calm, quiet, listens well, went to research on the computer the condition I have, then tied in my symptoms to aspects of this unusual chronic condition. He was focussed, yet holistic in his approach. He responded respectfully and fully to my questions. I thought "What marvelous good fortune for this tiny hospital and community to have an old-fashioned doctor with such up-to-date skills and knowledge. I note his address is given as the hospital and wonder if Dr. Irvine has a private practice as well as doing Emergency duty at the hospital?
