Sent me for a biopsy, told me it would be a week or so for the results. Three weeks later, I never heard from him. Tried to contact him, but he was on vacation. Eventually, went to see my family doctor, who gave me the results. Gave up on him and just rely on my family doctor.

My mother was diagnosed by Dr. Main and sent home to die. He never checked in to see how things were going or to answer the myriad questions I had as new symptoms arose. He gave me no guidance re palliative care. Nothing. He may have done a lot of research on her behalf but did not share anything. To this day I don't even know exactly what she had.

My husband went to see him. Granted my husband had a rare disease but Main was not in the least bit interested in finding out what it was. My husband was terribly ill. So we were able to find a specialist in Vernon who knew his stuff and diagnosed my husband after a 1 hr. examination. While Dr. Main did a 2 minute exam....no wonder Dr. Main could not figure it out.....nor did he seem to care. The doctor in Vernon cared very deeply....we are so lucky we found this specialist in Vernon!!
