I've seen Dr. HARDER for 15 yrs too long. He has put me on Gabapentin 1 mth ago for apparent peripheral neuropathy for my toes, as they are numb and tingling. He DID NOT even touch my foot or make me walk to see where my pain was to make a proper diagnosis. Even my 2 knees have been operated on and both times he said it was bursitis/tendonitis and wouldn't put me on a MRI list until I told him to which we was pissed off. So I paid $5oo for my own MRI and both times it came up as a torn medial meniscus and both knees operated on. I work for the gov't. 12 hr shifts and am 58 yrs old and need to work lots on my feet etc. I asked to see a foot specialist to look at my foot and he said NO" and said this is all you do is take pills for life and wear boots 24/7 and not flipflops in the summer. I googles my symptoms and I have come up with possibly MORTONS Neuroma which is all my symptoms, not just numb burning toes as it feels like IM walking on electrical wires from my ball of my foot. I was also on Ativan for 27 yrs (given by Drs) and he said that I had to go off due to these pills being addictive and cause early dementia which I totally agreed to get off of them. :) While we talked about it, I merely said, "will I be ok to get off of these with any issues" and he YELLED AT ME and said, "YOU HAVE TO GET OFF OF THEM CAUSE YOUR AN ADDICT"!!! OMG, I almost cried, I said, YOu Drs have given me these pills for 27 yrs due to my anxiety/hyper tension and then to sleep as I do shiftwork. :( I told him Im not an addict. AN addict is a person in the streets on Fentanyl/Heroin/Crack. SO RUDE!He rarely looks at me as signs into his computer and says' what can I do for you" The Worse bedside manner that I have ever seen. I need a more compassionate Dr. that will actually be more pro-active and touch my feet so see where my pains are and do more physical ability tests than just tell me Im on pills forever! He needs to retire and Im looking for a new Dr as I speak .. SO sad! . ANd if your reading this Dr. HARDER..let me go as you have no compassion for ME at all..and undermine my intregity. You're so rude and do NOT Listen..You cause me to have more hyper-tension even before I see you in your office and when I leave.

Dr. Harder is a kind, thoughtful doctor who always ensures that you see a specialist if you need to and he will not over-medicate you. He quite frequently has residents in training working with him which is great. He has been our doctor for over 20 years and he is simply terrific.

Dr. Harder has been my family physician for over 10 years, I'm my opinion the quality has deteriorated . I have gone there several times where he has misinformed me, doesn't remember past visits or history, and often seems he has no empathy. Recently I had an appointment to find out the gender of my second child went to the appointment and he didn't know(after his lady at the front desk asked why 2 weeks prior that I was making the appointment), so rather than call them and get the results because after all I was fairly tense about it, (i teared up In his office and began to question) couldn't wait to find out and after waiting and waiting he said he would call that day. So that day I sat around waiting and never received a phone call only to find out they had closed and not bothered to even call. I was torn and had to go to work more than upset that day. The following Monday I went in and staff was beyond rude to me, trying to get me out of there saying the reason they never called was because results didn't come in,(okay so call and tell me that, it wouldve been appreciated) so I took the matter into my own hands because they weren't going to do it and called the imaging place on my own to reassure that the files had been sent and that they weren't just telling me what they had to, just to shut me up. If you want a doctor to take there time, be thorough, be empathetic, this isn't the doctor for you. After these shanaghans I'm Definently looking for a new doctor.

Doctor Harder is an experienced health care provider. Although he appears impersonal at times, he is a professional, knowledgable and provides expert advice to his patients. There is no doubt that he is happy when his patient is making an effort on his/ her own to improve their health, instead of waiting for the health care system to help them when its already too late.

I have been his patient for years his staff and the resident doctors are. Always great, so refreshing to have a doctor who does prenatal care and deliveries, this is one Doctor/Team who take their jobs seriously and give it their best
