Dr Glen Hoar is a gentle soul who also represents the very best. His dedicated and congenial staff members complement him to a tee.

Day 2-no instructions or forewarning of aftermath-still cannot see properly-than God I had someone to drive or I would still be at Comox hospital!!!!! That info sheet not given, I cannot overlook....that brings Dr. Hoars ratings down and he is very good...excuse error as cannot see well

Dr.Hoar is a very caring, competent surgeon. He is knowledgeable and very thorough. I had cataract surgery and he was so efficient l would recommend him to anyone who is having eye surgery. The best in the Comox valley.

Thanks to Dr Hoar's efficiency I was diagnosed with a blocked carotid artery when I thought I was having eye problems. He referred me to a specialist and I successfully underwent a carotid endarterectomy which saved me from a stroke or worse. He also has an excellent "bedside" manner!
