This one thinks she is God! She never consults with the patient. I feel that I'm worth 15 minutes of her time. I bet she charges by the hour. Making an appointment with her, takes weeks. Better off going to the emergency! She does not come across as very knowledgeable. Like the majority of family GPs she is just the record keeper with very little medical expertise.

Doctor Smillie is one of the best doctors I have had in !kamloops. I have severe lung problems and she keeps right on top of my care. Also have heart problems, and get blood tests every month, never have to wait for results. Generally next day.

visited Dr Smillie with my son and she was very attentive, great knowledge about his condition and was able to discuss short and long term solutions to the problem. I left the office feeling confident that she had his best interests at heart

She is great, makes you understand the problem even if still dont think its eough she will give you some sites to read or some printouts for you to read.
