Barely listened, and pushed me to take antipsychotics and antidepressants. The antipsychotics left me with permanent extrapyrimidal side effects. Eyelid twitching, tremors in body. Actively discouraged alternative therapy options (I assume because curing me would cut into his kickback from pharmaceutical companies). Also tried to sell me on electroconvulsive therapy (shocking the brain because why not) while my mind was fucked up in the hospital trying to adjust to his prescription. Avoid if you doubt the "chemical imbalance" theory even slightly.

Dr. Diaz is stunning. Like light let in within Lace in dying Sight Showers he Diamond shards within A Star Within candles blown out He alights Life once again The truest friend will never Tell you Who you are Yet he will Compassionate Within grace When you can no longer face This mirror Within disgrace He tilts it so He tilts it so Something exquisite shines A beauty of yourself Unknown Shines Just for a sliver A moment Of healing Like silver salve His word In every patient Differently heard A patient of many I am Yet his I would trust my life Within his hands Crushed cherry Blossoms Lilt Within my touch Yet He turns And crushed Flowers become alive Within petals Just about To Unfold ---- Dr. Diaz is stunning. Communicates well, listens to patient and family, acts promptly, consults other physycians when needed, responsible, practice professinal ethics,as for diagnosis of severe mentally ill patients. As any good psyciatrist have difficulties and limitations sometimes due to complexity of the condition or patient response to medications and treatments. We appreciate and feel greatful for having Dr Diaz in our community
