Patients should be punctual (weather, transportation & roads permitting), but doctors can't always be punctual, because an earlier patient might require more attention than the time allowed. Appointment times are scheduled by the front desk staff who can't possibly know how long appointments will take. We need more female doctors with compassion, understanding and knowledge of women and their stresses, working conditions and the paltry salaries most women are forced to live on. (Our illustrious governments seldom go after deadbeat dads.) Women need more female doctors with compassion and understanding of poverty. But most doctors always assume that women are malingering. (These same doctors appear surprised when their patients die.) Dr. Keyzer evinces compassion and does her best for her patients within the confined time she has. Other doctors brush female patients' concerns aside without checking for physical causes before sending them to psychiatrists --which annoys psychiatrists who want REAL psychiatric patients--not those suffering ailments which the family doctors missed.
