Dr. Gulka attended to me while I was in Langley Memorial for possible pancreatitis. I have had 3 bouts with this very painful condition with no one able to tell me why and what I can do to (maybe) prevent this happening again. Other than quit drinking, which I have done for 5 years. Because he showed some interest and questioned the diagnosis I will now seek a gastroenterologist to further my helping myself if I can.

Dr Gulka saw me in emerg for nausau and stomach pain and diagnosed pancreatitis. For the 7 days I was under his care he was thorough, knowledgable and listened to any complaints. He arranged for a consultation with a surgeon and assisted with the surgery - I had complete trust and confidence in his decisions.
