Dr. Gopinath is the best doctor in any field that I have ever met. Seeing him was my first experience needing psychiatric care, and he made it not only a comfortable experience but a life changing one. I will continue to periodically check in with him throughout my life as long as he is practicing. He is a hero.

If it were not for Dr. Gopinath, I would not be here today. I went into hospital with severe Post Natal Depression and he saved my life through ECT's and getting to know me as a person and my family too. He takes a holistic view of the patient, is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about psychiatry, and wants the best for his patients from the bottom of his heart. He later diagnosed me as bi-polar but this totally made sense looking back on my life. I am now perfectly functional, living life to the full, enjoying my little girl and my career opportunities!

I have had experiences with Dr. Gopinath, and have found he only wished to discuss matters relevant to his review. However, he did not want to discuss prevelant matters, that provided healing.

On my second visit [two months after my first] he did not have my file in front of him and he remembered many details of my life/situation. Finally - a doctor who can do his job without referring to the chart. Bravo Dr. G ... you're restoring my faith in your profession.
