Patient and sincere, and kind. A good "bedside manner". Good sense of humour. Looks not only at the record and charts, but asks about the person's life and lifestyle. NB: I didn't give "5" score because that would indicate Perfect. Show me something which is Perfect. :) Put my score as 4.9

A great medical practitioner. He asks lots of questions, is a great listener and extremely knowledgeable. I find him to be sincere, friendly and genuinely interested in my well being. I am fortunate to have him as my family doctor.

It seems I've had a lot of problems relating to this doctor. He just doesn't seem to be able to relate to a younger person with persistent health problems. I'm not sure if it is due to some kind of prejudice or whether he just doesn't care all that much. Either way he has provided me with many avenues to get help for my health problems but so far after years with this doctor not even one of the avenues he has sent me down has been any help at all. In all honesty, I've gotten far better advice from friends and family than any of the advice and "supposed care" I've received from years with this doctor.

Intent, Compassion, Diligence, Willingness, Empowering, listens, suggests, never dictates. Handles differant Medical issues each on their own accord even in back to back husband and wife appointments! Can not say enough good things about this MD. He works out of a Walk In Clinic, so does not really have Staff to rate, but he is a caring and compassionate person. He rates far higher in my esteem, than 1 I had previously elsewhere in B.C.

Dr Balfour is a no nonsence kind of doctor. Makes sure his facts are straight and does read your file and checks things out before making a diagnosis. He is well tempered, polite,patient and caring. He is very devoted to his patients and is not a pill pusher.I could not say enough good things about him and I have seen a lot of doctors.
