My wife and I have been Dr.Szasnowska's patients since she opened her family practice here in Parksville. returning a short time away we can confidently say that we are fortunate to have a competent, hard-working and caring physician like Dr. Szachnowska in Parksville. When she was filling in for Lipsey I thought she was really rude. I took along some written questions so I wouldn't forget them and she told me an appointment was for just one concern and needed to make new appointments for other questions or discuss with regular doctor when he returned. Questions seemed to irritate her and was determined to find another doc when Lipsey retired...impossible in Parksville so I did make desperation appointments ONLY and must say my opinion has changed although she does seem rather indecisive...suggesting try one thing and then changing mind to try another instead?? Maybe having a doctor who is not TOO sure of him/herself isn't all bad though:)

Excellent caring Doctor that takes the time to examine and explain her findings. She has now settled down in her routine and is very caring with her elderly patients. We are very happy that she has decided to stay.
