Dr. Takhar saw me in the ER at Powell River General. She wasted no time diagnosing and stabilizing my condition and arranged transport to St. Pauls. Her bed side manner and explanation of the procedures to be preformed, immediately put me at ease. Dr. Takhar listened and answered all of my post op questions and again put me at ease.

I recently saw Doctor Takhar for the first time concerning a liver ailment. I found her exceptionally patient and knowledgeable. She took a great deal of time to listen to everything I had to say and to explain things to me. She has been very helpful.

I only saw Dr. Takhar once for a follow up of a case of pericarditis I unfortunately had. I do not like seeing new doctors, it always makes me uncomfortable for whatever reason but she immediately put me at ease. The atmosphere of her home-like office was very relaxing.
