He is my dad's doc and I have seen him improve over the years. Some of my elderly father's conditions became chronic and I was initially frustrated that I could not glean an explanation from him as to why my father was not getting better. Sometimes it feels like I'm squeezing water out of a stone for information but he does seem to pay more attention now. He seems meticulous and thoughtful about medication adjustments.

He talked at me, not with me. He put me down, about having to use a sleep aide. Based on his own opinions.

Dr. Venter has been just wonderful. He is always patient, explains things thoroughly, and makes you feel as though he is listening. Also, love the big metallic smile with the braces.

He was right on top of my dad's medical situation and him and his staff were immediate, compotent, and friendly when making appointments for tests and sending him to hospital without delay. Dr. Venter called us very late at night to notify us of results from tests and to get him to hospital. Awesome doctor!
