Dr. Gallins exudes compassion, understanding, and conveys a strong sense of medical knowledge. The first time I met her in hospital was perhaps the worst day of my life. My father had been having severe lower back pain, and along with other symptoms, felt a warmth and swelling in his chest. I was almost certain his aortic aneurysm had begun to rupture, which is seldom survivable. Being right never felt so terrible as his aneurysm burst while waiting to see the doctor, but Dr. Gallins showed unwavering compassion and support through an impossibly difficult experience. The second time seeing her at the hospital my brother who suffers from epilepsy and autism had a particularly severe seizure and aspirated a considerable quantity of his vomit. He was unable to take in enough oxygen without assistance, and after losing my dad my first thought was “oh no, not again!â€. Despite the constant threat from the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Gallins with calm and finesse explained the steps they were taking that would help him through this emergency and made certain he was able to receive expedient care at Victoria General, for which our local hospital was not equipped. While the week ahead was intense, I was fully confident that my brother was in good hands and believe his recovery would have been much harder without Dr. Gallins quick and thorough response.

She treated me at Saanich Peninsula hospital, she was very kind and understanding. I loved her upbeat personality, would love to have her as personal doctor.

After approx. 4 weeks Dr. she relived me today at the the hospital and treated me and the pain is almost gone tonight. Thank you Dr. Gallins. Sharon Mason

Treated me in Saanich Peninsula Hospital ER. Very considerate, knowledgeable and made me feel as comfortable as I could be under the circumstances. Friendly and compassionate approach
