Where do I start...I miss having you as my doctor, and I miss Desiree. Have not had the same level of care since you retired. Being a patient for all those years since the early 90's, I always respected you as you cared for your patients, and weren't about rushing them out after 1 thing. You took the time to be there for them, and that means allot. I always knew I was in good hands, and knew you knew your stuff! Honestly there are few like you. I hope all is well and you are enjoying retirement, and I truly wish you all the best.

December 28th 2016. Happy 65th Birthday Dr. Conway. Still miss you as my Doctor - back in 2001. I am not sure why you would no longer accept me. It affected me very badly after having you as a Doctor for over 19 years. So ... I finally had a 3rd foot surgery (so I stopped whining about not being able to walk) - I think you remember that one. 1/2 of the 2nd toe was removed in January of 2008. I first met you in 1982 after my motorcycle accident. Also - the reason that I lost my job - 17 years later that diagnosis was cleared from my slate & my working career was already ruined. You understood - you just didn't understand what I was going through living at the Rooming House - pure hell living there for 3 years. You were a huge loss in my life - more than you could ever imagine. So I guess you can celebrate your retirement now. I still remember when you thought you were turning 50 - you were only turning 49. Thank you for your phone call & admitting what you said to me when I was having trouble walking. I have been very misunderstood by other Doctors since I lost you as someone that I could openly talk to. BTW - I didn't want to drive all the way in from Sooke back in 2001 because I didn't think my car would make it home again. I didn't feel well enough to ride my bike either. The car did die shortly after that. I wish things could have been talked out ... I wished you could have said something instead of just dropping me as a patient. I really needed your understanding at that time. Nothing heavy but too hard to explain to all the other Doctors after living at that place (in the garage behind the house) near your office. So very sad in so many ways. I always remembered your birthday. You're free now - Enjoy !!!

Has been my Dr. since he started at the Tillicum mall...I guess 34 years.Understanding, wise,witty.I do not have enough words to describe his goodness that can never be replaced when he leaves in April.

never makes you feel like your problem is stupid, always orders every possible test "just in case" so there's never any doubt he missed anything BUT very much standard western medicine, not much into other things you can try if test results are negative. over 20 years with him and no real complaints. nice guy, never rushes you out.

I have been a patient for 25+ yrs. He always takes the time to listen & is not one of these prescription pushers. He's up to date on the latest medicines & procedures.

Almost 25 years as my doctor! Simply the most thoughtful and honest doctor I have ever had. The thought of him retiring is a burden his patients will not want to bear. I sincerely hope that that won't happen anytime soon.

Dr. Conway is my doctor for more than 15+ years. He is the best, he listens to you and is always there when you need him. Thanks to Dr. Conway He has helped myself out in so many ways and have been there when I was going through had times with my parents. Help me so much through my medical issures and I could always talk to him freely and not be scared. I will miss you Dr. Conway when you retire so much.

Dr. Conway is the most caring and thorough doctor that I have ever had. Witty as well. The thought of him retiring eventually makes me wonder if they make any other doctors out there like him. It will be a sad day.

Dr Conway is a great MD and I have been seeing him for at least 15 years. He's compassionate and thorough and always explains in great detail if you ask him to. If there's bad, its that he's VERY busy, so much that appointments often are two or more weeks to see him, and there are longer waits in his waiting room, often requiring you to see a clinic.
