Dr. Dougall was the most informed and caring doctor I ever encountered when caring for my mother, who had dementia. He is probing, insightful, honest, tactful, and truly has his patients' interest at heart.

I was assessed by Dr.Dougall on May 28,2013, relative to cognitive concerns. He was impressive to say the least.I cannot imagine how I could have been treated better.

I have been a nurse for 30+ years and have taken both my parents to see dr Dougal. He is by far the best physician I have ever dealt with. Patient, caring, extremely knowledgable, he really is invested in his patients. We are so lucky to have him!

Dr. Dougall did a geriatric assessment for my mother last fall. He was kind, knowledgeable, and able to explain medical and other issues clearly. He showed a genuine commitment to my mother's health, as well as concern for her feelings and dignity, and for my ability to cope with her care. His neurological examination of my mother was rapid, thorough, and (frankly) fascinating. When I tried to get back in touch with him later, he was very quick to return my call and answered my questions very willingly. His kindness and competence were incredibly reassuring in a situation that is inherently scary (my mother has dementia) and made even more so because we are all new to Victoria and adjusting to new jobs and a new living situation (living with my mother). Thank you so much, Dr. Dougall!
