As long as you understand that this doctor sleeps, eats, and pretty much lives at the hospital, then he's GREAT. There's just something about an South African.

Dr. Newton seems fine to me. Yes he can be late, but that's only because he's at the hospital. Call first to make sure of his time. and all is well. His staff at the front desk, always have a smile and let you know they care. Don't know about bed-side manner yet, altho having a hip replacement so we shall see. I love kibitzing around, and it is reciprocated which makes waiting a whole lot easier. What can I say about South African doctors, they are the best.

knowledgeable with immediate information. Considers the broader possibilities to be sure. Follow up is dependable. never missed a day visiting at hospital over several weeks when a family member was very ill. We feel well served by such a busy man. He is well respected by other doctors and hospital personnel.

he can be a great doctor he seems to be very knowledgeable, but the wait times are totally ridiculous. and there has been a couple of times when I would be talking to him and his cell phones rings he just answered it like i wasn't even there that is rude. when he is focused and not distracted he is a great doctor

blood pressure was high did not ask how high did not take blood pressure gave me free samples in and out 3 minutes 1 1/2 hour wait
