Thanks to Dr. Hugo I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in it's earliest stage and rushed for treatment. His suggestion to have surgery was crucial to finding the cancer. Very thorough and excellent gynecologist! Staff were kind and helpful.

He is very quick to get me in for the proper procedures as we are still trying to find what causes my ongoing pain, but he doesn't stop when we run out of ideas, he looks for another answer. His support staff is great as well. The health care system isn't perfect and they are only human so referrals can take sometime due to circumstances that can't be avoided.

Dr. Hugo is a very caring doctor. Thorough & punctual. Takes the time to listen to what you have to say. The staff is always friendly.

Dr. Hugo takes the time to give indepth explanations of our options without bias, but is willing to give personal insight if asked. Our appointments are thorough, never rushed. He was happy to give a referral to Calgary to a clinic with more experience in amniocentisis if I felt more comfortable (I chose to have Dr. Hugo perform) so he if very open and honest, and not egotisitcal at all. We have one healthy baby delivered by c-section with Dr. Hugo, and another on the way trying for VBAC with his full support.

too much miscommunication in his office. I have recurrent miscarriages and am trying to conceive. Because of the gross lack of communication that goes on in that office, I was booked in for a procedure that never should have happened and was turned away at the hospital, after spending $350 to over night it in Cranbrook. The next month, went to get the procedure done again and his receptionist was going to book me in on a day when he was on HOLIDAYS, which would have seen me spend another $350 only to be turned around yet again. Not impressed!
