I have seen GPS literally in almost every area of Canada. Dr. Sebulsky is outstanding. She listens intently and never gives the impression that I am being rushed. Every referral she has given me has always been to a doctor who is also outstanding. As for her staff, her receptionist sets a tone of respect and helpfulness. I give her five stars.

After 14 years of severe chronic pain and seeing literally over a hundred doctors in that time (more often than not, almost-useless doctors), I've never been so-impressed with any doctor of any kind, period! First and foremost, I think the only class in medical school that she didn't attend was "How to develop a narcissistic god-complex: Why an MD entitles you to respect & you never-again have to earn it." This is an infinitely-bigger issue than most people realize, but MD's in any field tend to have VAST differences in their level of knowledge, competence and theoretical-understanding of bio-medical sciences... but the only part of this issue that's unacceptable and *incredibly*-frustrating (and harmful) is their apparent fear of shaking the patient's faith in their god-like medical omniscience. The reality is that not a single doctor could learn *everything* about medicine if you gave them 80 years of committed-study; there's just too much for one human brain. But when they don't know something or only have the most-basic knowledge on the subject, rather than *ever* say "I'll have to do some digging before determining the best course of treatment", 100% of the time they just pretend nothing's amiss, then wing-off a diagnosis and course of treatment that's completely-ineffective or even harmful (and VERY often totally-contrary to the last doctor's diagnosis and treatment). So after 14 years of disillusionment with GP's in general, Dr. Sebulsky single-handedly renewed my faith in the potential healing-capacity of our supposed-healers, and in just one visit! I was so pleased and frankly awe-struck when I met her and discovered a *doctor* who was not only a fellow medical science enthusiast, but she was clearly one of the absolute-smartest, most-compassionate, likeable GP's I'd ever-met... and most of all to my delight/shock, when I mentioned having read a recent study about long-term Gabapentin use causing Vitamin-D malabsorption, she actually said "Really, that sounds interesting! I'd be interested to see that study if you can bring-in a copy next time." A DOCTOR who's clearly not just an avid-learner, but actually enthusiastic about adding to her knowledge by scrutinizing new studies and adding/adapting that knowledge when called for. All that aside though, there's just not a single quality about her competence, caring and willingness-to-listen that didn't impress me more than any doctor I've ever met. I only wish I could actually find one as good as her (and find one at all); she's the one-in-a-million who could actually give someone like me a fighting-chance at getting better. But I'm sure glad to know she's out there helping people now!
