Dr. Carr has been my surgeon for over 16 years. He took me through breast cancer, follow up and two colonoscopy checks. He is a caring, brilliant and empathetic doctor. I trust him with my life.

I went to Dr Carr at the end of Oct 2014. What was supposed to be a routine colonoscopy has turned into a life of hell. During the procedure he decided to remove 3 interior hemorrhoid . He told me he removed 3 internal ones by way of laser and then cotorization. He informed me he removed 3 of them. Since I saw him and he did what he did to me I have had nothing but pain, loss of blood during every bowel movement and living on pain killers. I have had 1 more surgical investigation although not by him. Then off to a coler rectal surgeon at St Pauls Hospital in Van. Another surgery. Still loss of blood and more pain and pain killers. Before I saw Dr Carr I never have had any problems with my bowels. Since the day He touched me I have been living a life of hell. All the medical sites including BC Medical sites only one hemorrhoid should be treated at a time. He informed me he did 3 in one sitting. Not happy with his rescission to do what he did at all. Please get a second opinion.
