I had Dr Hope as my Psychiatrist for a year or so. Out of ALL the Dr's I've seen over the last 2 years, she is at the top. Dr. Hope is very caring and understanding. Our loss is Qualicome Beaches gain.

Apparently, Doctor Hope has moved to Nanaimo – I was sorry to learn that she intended to leave her Chilliwack practice. In my view, she is a credit to the psychiatry profession, she is a Canadian psychiatric treasure and she is my medical/psychiatric practitioner hero. I was referred to Dr. Hope to determine if four (4) medical issues of mine were psychiatric in nature as well as to determine if all/any of my symptoms were related to one another. Although she had no experience nor specialized education/training in the nature(s) of my problems she did literature research (including home reading), consulted with peers/colleagues/specialists and after being diagnosed at a specialized UBC clinic – she set out to address/treat all four of my ailments plus a few secondary & tertiary spin-off ailment-related/medication-related problems of mine. Doctor Hope showed/practiced incite, knowledge and effort despite my multiple problems not really being explicitly main-stream psychiatry in character. I have consulted with three other Psychiatrists and in comparison to others, Doctor Hope really excelled in treating both my medical and interim-psychiatric issues . . . AND she has raised my faith and confidence in the psychiatry profession as a whole. I couldn’t believe some of the double-treatment/triple-treatment, single-medication “off-label†therapies that Dr. Hope prescribed – INGENIOUS. Frankly and honestly: I send Doctor Hope a very sincere “THANK YOU†for how systematically, how persistently and how well she helped improve the quality of my life. She helped me in soooooo many ways – I am happier now than I have been in twenty solid years – REALLY! Only select few individuals have the will, ability, stamina and persistence to study/accomplish more than a decade of mind-boggling byzantine courses and internships to become both a medical doctor and a psychiatrist. ATTENTION Doctor Hope: “THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH.â€
