Dr. Varma is a kind and considerate doctor who takes time to take your blood pressure, asked pertinent questions ask for blood tests As needed she sent me to an excellent specialist. I feel I'm in good hands.

he should have retired 25 years ago.5 years ago I had some skin tags removed, but one was a little suspect so she said she would send it in for testing. After 2 weeks, I called back to see if the results came in and was informed that they had no record of the sample being sent out.Last week I made the mistake of walking into her clinic to get a 1.5 cm sliver removed from under my fingernail. Varma comes in, grabs a huge needle in an attempt to freeze the finger tip, but the needle wouldn't go in (too blunt), so she kept jabbing at the skin. I finally yelled at her to stop and asked if she had a topical aenesthetic, she said no and I asked that she try removing the sliver without freezing. She took this scissor like tool and dug it in and finally pulled out the sliver. This hurt far less than the repeated needle jabs. I asked if there was any risk for infection and she said no, but put some polysporin on it. Today, she called and said I should get a tetanus shot. RETIRE already.
