I had a carpal tunnel surgery in 2005 with Dr. Guichon. Unfortunately the experience wasn't great. He rushed the surgery and started cutting before the local anesthetics worked. Eventually I had other hand done with different doctor, which was way better experience. However from both surgeries, the time off work was the most beneficial to subside the strain in wrists, not the surgeries.
