Great doctor. Had her as family doctor for several years but last time I attempted to see her, I was informed she was no longer working in the practice so I went to find another family doctor. I see that she is back at the practice but when I attempted to make appointment was told that she left the practice due to COVID and unable to travel but now has returned. The practice stated that she is not accepting new patient and would not make appointment for me to see her. very disappointed. Those who are able to see her are very lucky.

I started seeing Dr Muncey 20 years ago when my kids were little. Since my kids have grown and I don't have a need for a Dr on a regular basis, she had fired me as a patient. She thought I found another Dr. I told them I hadn't needed a Dr in 5 years and if I did, it was in the middle of the day and she was already gone. Now that I am having health issues I am having to find a family Dr. Not happy about this at all.

I am so sad about having to give up Doctor Muncey, who has been my family doctor for over twenty years. Unfortunately I have no choice. When you have to get up at 4:30 A.M. to stand in line in the freezing rain or cold just to get your name on the list and you are in excruciating pain it’s beyond fathomable why this is allowed. If you have a family practice it should be open to appointments and not first come first served. This summer I decided to give my husband’s doctor a chance. Lo and behold I was able to get in to see her within a couple of days and I actually had an appointment time. I didn’t have to stand in line and wait for hours in the waiting room in order to see her. And it wasn’t a rushed ten minute appointment as things seem to be with Dr. Muncey these days. I didn’t have to wait for hours in the waiting room either. I had a real time! This doctor actually listened to me, took notes and asked questions about me. I wasn’t rushed and the consultation lasted more than 30 minutes. At the end of the appointment, I made the decision to ask this doctor if she’d take me on as a new patient. She agreed and I signed the papers severing my association with Dr. Muncey, whom I had been seeing for at least twenty years.

Dr. Muncey is truly a loving & caring Doctor. We had to leave as making an appointment was difficult & to get in on a walk in, you now had to line up @ 4 & 4:30 am. Susie in the office is awesome as is Anita who takes U in. Thank-U Dr. Joy for your special heart! 💜💜

Dr. Joy Muncey is an amazing Dr. She treats her patients with care & understanding. No matter what you are going through she is there along side of you. She makes me feel better no matter what:)

Been a patient for 15 years, great Doctor. Staff is so so don't really seem to care about the patients at all. Always almost 1 hour late even with a regular appointment. Takes a month to schedule an appointment with her, otherwise you have to walk-in, and that is usually full sometimes as early as 7am.

After 20 years With Dr Muncey Very Good Doctor but too popular for a working class man who needs to have access to a Doctor now and then. I had no choice but to move on.
