Dr does come across as a bit pompous but he's actually very nice once you get to know him and he gets to know you. He's a good doctor.

He takes his time with you and even phones you personally to give you results of tests competed ,always writes everything down . All I can say is he is great for me and my health .

He taked his time with his patience (my wife and I), takes us in in urgent situations. He isnt a pill pusher. I agree with most reviews he does listen intently and does care. He takes care of himself always looks polished. That tells you he will take care of you.

Dr. Pereira, as mentioned by another reviewer, really does look directly into his patients eyes & I agree that this doctor is truly "listening" and "plugged in" to his patients well being. I have never been "rushed out the door" and the doctor has, when appropriate, taken the extra time with me. I feel well cared for by a knowledgeable and well trusted man.

he looks you in the eye when speaking to you, and actually LISTENS instead of jotting notes and ignoring....isnt that enough to make him a better doc than most these days?
