I had a very painful sequestered disc and was advised by an ER physician to have immediate surgery. Dr. Sabados disagreed, telling me to wait and see what happens, explaining that back surgery in this situation might make things worse. His approach was absolutely correct. Within 6 months my immune system had removed the disc and within a year my back was stronger than ever, and eventually 100% of the pain had disappeared. This guy's a fantastic doctor, and not afraid to go against conventional wisdom to help a patient. Truman Green Surrey BC
