He is currently working with my niece who has a very complicated medical case. He has been amazing with her and her family - very dedicated.

A most wonderful, caring Dr. Very knowledgable and patient. Punctuality is lacking, probably because he is so busy.

Saved father's life after incompetent and arrogant UBC emergency doctors and unbelievably rude/plain nasty admission staff erroneously assumed he must have just needed bowel care since he's a senior. Gave him laxatives and sent him home 3 times. By the time he got sent to VGH, dad had a perforated stomach and asepsis infection. Was hours away from death. Dr. Buczkowski quickly and accurately diagnosed the situation and performed surgery, in full consultation with family and patient wishes. Dad fully recovered physically. Follow up appointments were also good. Very grateful for a competent and compassionate surgeon.
