Dr. Friesan is by far the most compassionate, competant and open minded GP I have ever had. He makes me take responsibility for my health and ensures I am his teammate not an inferior.

Dr. Friesen was our family doctor for about 10 years. He was always helpful and knowledgeable. I always felt like he would give me space to explain all my symptoms. He definitely went beyond the call of duty for my family a few times. I would recommend him.

I have had 2 concerning visits with Dr. Friesen. After one visit where I was requesting a referral to talk therapy he referred me to hot yoga, more specifically to the place that he practices. As a single parent this is beyond my means. I didn't really feel as though he 'heard' me. I recently brought my son to him and was shocked when he told my 9 year old son that he was at risk of 'death or dying' because I had opted out of the MMR vaccine when he was a baby. I was appalled. My son had anxiety for weeks after, interpreting that the doctor told him he was dying. I would think that a professional doctor would know what conversations to have in front of a child and what to save for when a child is not present.

Dr. Friesen is a generally pleasant medical practitioner. I experienced impatience from him once; when I wanted to ask a question about another issue, he told me rather abruptly that I'd have to schedule another appointment. The clinic staff are courteous and efficient.

I have been going to Dr Friesen for quite a number of years now and really like him. i have even referred my family to him. i have never had a complaint about him
